Bar/Bat Mitzvah Families Support Group

The opportunity to understand what's going on, the meaning underlying behind the scenes, to relax, laugh, and what is most important to give your family the chance to travel this journey together.

Mondays, March 7, 14, 21, 28. 7-8:30pm

Have you ever wondered why the year of most of the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs are chaotic? Tensed? Stressful? Aren't these events supposed to be enjoyable? celebratory? What is tha we missing? When did we lose the focus of the main point and values? Do we really understand what's going on during the year prior, the year of and the day of?

Cantor Gastón Bogomolni (rabbinical and clinical psychology student) has 31 years of expertise teaching Bar/Bat Mitzvah students as well as implementing and developing Educational Family Programs for this cohort. Throughout the years Cantor Gastón has been instrumental working with members of a myriad of families to spiritually guide them to achieve healthy goals, as well as to solve many family conflicts during the year of the big milestone.

This 3 series of 4 sessions each support group offers the opportunity to understand what's going on, the meaning underlying behind the scenes, the analysis of various behaviors around the Bar/Bat Mitzvah student, to express your frustration, to relax, calm, laugh and what is most important to give your family the chance to travel this journey together.

Cantor Gastón also offers free coaching for each family individually based on the Brief Therapy Problem Solution approach (Cantor Bogomolni is certified by the Brief Therapy Center of Palo Alto, California; and Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring.
